The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted a lot of businesses to work from home. Since you've never had to work from home before, chances are you may not have a designated space to call your office. Since you may not have been prepared at the beginning of the pandemic, like many individuals, you might have resorted to completing your work from your kitchen table. No one thought we'd be working from home this long and your company may not have an estimated date to return to the office which makes now the perfect time to upgrade your office from the kitchen table! Leaving the house to go to work each day creates a clear distinction between work and home. Working from home makes it hard to feel this distinction so it's important to create some kind of space to trick your mind and get you into work mode. Try to avoid your kitchen table as your workspace. When you create a space that is specifically made for work, it may make you more organized and will also help you work more productively. Consider your personality when creating your new workspace. Do you like to work in complete silence or do you tolerate distractions well?
