Kaare Klint’s son, Esben Klint, created this simplified version of the Fruit lamp in 1949. Esben Klint cut off the top and base of the Fruit lamp. From the closed lampshade, he created a simple lamp featuring the complex cross-pleated structure of the original shade. Provides good down lighting as it is open at the base.
